- Account data — username, password (hashed), profile preferences.
- Booking data — service type, date, time, location, special instructions, mission history.
- Payment data — billing address, payment method details. Card numbers are processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor and never stored on our servers.
- Location data — real-time geolocation when you use live tracking features (only while the app is in active use or during a mission).
- Device & technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, app version, crash logs.
- Communication data — messages sent through in-app chat, WhatsApp enquiries, contact forms, and support tickets.
3. How we use your data
We process personal data for the following purposes:
- Service delivery — to match you with security agents, dispatch units, enable live tracking and manage bookings.
- Account management — to create and maintain your account, authenticate logins and manage preferences.
- Payments — to process transactions, issue invoices and handle refunds.
- Safety & security — to verify the identity and credentials of security agents, conduct background checks, and ensure the safety of all parties.
- Communication — to send booking confirmations, mission updates, support responses and, where you have opted in, marketing messages.
- Legal compliance — to meet our obligations under French and EU law, including regulations governing private security services.
- Improvement — to analyse usage patterns, fix bugs, improve features and develop new services.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — processing necessary to perform our contract with you (bookings, payments, service delivery).
- Legitimate interest — fraud prevention, platform security, analytics and service improvement.
- Legal obligation — compliance with French private security regulations (Livre VI du Code de la sécurité intérieure), tax and accounting requirements.
- Consent — marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Security agents & partner firms — limited mission details necessary to fulfil your booking (name, location, timing, special instructions).
- Payment processors — to process transactions securely.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — servers located within the European Union.
- Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of individuals.
- Professional advisors — auditors, lawyers and insurers, under strict confidentiality obligations.
6. International transfers
Your data is primarily stored and processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). If any data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:
- Active accounts — for the duration of your account plus 3 years after closure.
- Booking & transaction records — 5 years (French commercial and tax obligations).
- Agent identity & licensing documents — duration of the contractual relationship plus 5 years.
- Location data — deleted within 30 days after mission completion.
- Support communications — 2 years after resolution.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restriction — restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
